HLF funding and the Development of Watford Museum

Public Consultation Event at Watford Museum

Your Museum, Your Ideas

HLF Project

Watford museum has received just over £175,000 in development funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to help progress their plans for a full grant at a later date. If successful, the subsequent funding will allow the museum to undergo an amazing and much needed transformation.

The museum is interested in hearing the views of local people and has planned a series of consultations and proposals for the coming year. A public consultation event is being held in April to hear local views on how the museum can improve and make the museum a much better experience for visitors.

This event provides an opportunity to meet with staff, the architect and display designers to share thoughts and shape the proposed designs for our HLF project.
