Join us for this special Festival of Ideas Sat-ART-day! Come and get creative – make, see, and explore!

This fun and FREE event will be jam-packed with inspiring activities for people of all ages to enjoy. Make your own arts + crafts, explore the artworks in the Graduate Degree Show and treat yourself in our cafĂ©! Responding to the Festival’s theme ‘Powering Tomorrow’, you are invited to experiment with a fun range of materials in a relaxed environment.

The drop-in art activities include:

+ Imagine Tomorrow – create a collage that captures a future world. What you might be doing? What might it look like?

+ Be an Inventor – use everyday materials, and your imagination, to create magic machines to solve today’s problems.

+ Check out the Graduate Degree Show and create an artwork inspired by it.

UH Arts + Culture are thrilled to be part of the University's first ever live Festival of Ideas –  an exciting showcase of innovation that’s sure to inspire you. Taking place on our College Lane Campus in Hatfield on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May 2024, the Festival is FREE and open to everyone.

Parking

+ FREE parking at Angerland Park and Ride (AL10 8HS) with FREE shuttle bus to campus

+ Accessible parking for Blue Badge holders in car park B on the College Lane Campus (please see parking map)

Public Transport

+ FREE travel across our UNO bus network, register to attend the Festival in advance to receive your voucher
