An afternoon celebrating the New Town’s 70th anniversary will take place on Sunday 6 November at the auditorium, Nobel School in Stevenage.

Programme:

Popular historian of the post-war period, David Kynaston and Professor of town planning, Stephen Ward, examine the legacy of the New Town. (2pm to 4pm)

Refreshments (4pm to 5pm)

Brave New World: a light-hearted look at the early days of Stevenage new Town in music, film and pictures. (5pm to 7pm)
