Kensington Karavan Playwriting Workshop

As part of the Kensington Karavan Festival, Small Truth Theatre are running a FREE playwriting workshop for budding writers.

Led by a leading playwright Chloe Todd Fordham (award winning playwright and former Literary Manager of Graeae Theatre), Small Truth Theatre will introduce the basic principles of playwriting to explore the practicalities of how budding writers find their voice when writing for the stage.

The free 2 hour workshop will explore:

  • Structure
  • Character development
  • Where you find your stories
  • How to protect your voice as a writer
  • What next - industry tips?

This workshop is run as part of the Kensington Karavan Festival - a micro festival of new writing taking place on 24 & 25 September in Union Square - again all free!

Chloe’s new play will also feature as part of that festival - staged in a 1950s retro Caravan.
