We’re delighted to introduce one of four winners of our ‘And Breathe’ music competition - Niamh Browne.

Niamh’s song ‘Breathe’ is about the feelings of uncertainty and panic building up when you’re left alone with your thoughts. She comments how sometimes 'the worst kind of company can be your own mind, and it can make everything seem difficult'.

About Niamh Browne

Student in BSc Live Sound and Technology Student, at the University of Hertfordshire.

"The song ‘Breathe’ is about the feelings of panic and uncertainty building and feeling like they can suffocate you when you’re left alone with your thoughts, which is especially relevant to many people during the current situation. For some, being totally alone can be just as suffocating as being in a crowd, the worst kind of company can be your own mind, and it can make everything seem difficult, even just breathing."

And Breathe was created in collaboration with Herts SU, University of Hertfordshire's Music Department, and UH Arts.
