Join us for an afternoon workshop to develop and hone your drawings skills, working under the guidance of a professional tutor and artist.

Inspired by Hepworth’s drawings of dancers and surgeons at work, you will have the chance to create figurative drawings from a clothed model, interpreting their spontaneous movements in your own artistic style.

Following a short break, the session will then focus on exploring sustained slow-paced poses, offering you another approach of drawing movement.

This afternoon workshop will take place in the Learning Studio at St Albans Museum + Gallery and is suitable for all ages and all abilities.

This workshop needs a minimum of 6 participants to go ahead.
