Marketing awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Awards Gold prize for best internal communication campaign. Runners up in this category were City University and the University of Leicester.

The Public Relations Consultants Awards (PRCA) awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Awards its top prize for best internal communication campaign.

CIPR silver medal
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (Thames and Chiltern) also recognised the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards by giving it a silver prize in its internal communications category.
