Who can make a nomination?

VCACeremonyStudents, staff and employees of University-owned subsidiaries, such as Uno and Exemplas, can nominate for the Vice-Chancellor's Awards.

General rules when making a nomination

You can nominate any individual or team who works for the University and its subsidiary owned companies, such as Uno and Exemplas.

The work, for which a person or team is nominated, must have largely taken place in the year of the awards.

The substance of a written nomination for an individual or team cannot be used for more than one award.

The VCA judging panel will not make a second award for submissions that are substantially the same as previously successful VCA nominations.

You cannot nominate yourself or ask anyone to support your nomination.

How to nominate

Nominations are now closed.

All nominations should be supported with reasons explaining why you nominated this person or team. There is a 300 word limit for each nomination. See top tips for a successful nomination.

You can nominate till 23.00 Friday 22 February 2019.

Awards panel

Each nomination will be assessed by an awards panel comprising staff from across the University and a member of the Hertfordshire Students' Union. The panel will consider all the nominations before drawing up a list of finalists for each award.
