UH Press authors triumph at East Anglian Book Awards
Rob Liddiard and David Sims, co-authors of A Very Dangerous Locality, published by UH Press last year, have won the History and Tradition section of the 2019 East Anglian Book Awards. The winners were announced at a special lunch at Norwich City Football Club. Rob Liddiard is Professor of History at the University of East Anglia and the author of many books on the history of both landscape and fortifications. His co-author David Sims is an Honorary Research Fellow in History at the University of East Anglia.
A Very Dangerous Locality examines the landscape archaeology of the Second World War on the section of the east coast of England known as the Suffolk Sandlings (the coastal strip from Lowestoft to Felixstowe), an area unusually rich in military archaeology.
