This month we are looking at our relationship with nature and welcome poet Tom Denbigh to share his poetry on the subject.

Listen to Tom's engaging performances of poems about nature, filmed around his home and garden. Tom invites you with his poems to ponder on subjects like: climate change, gardening and the power of nature.

Tom lives in Bristol surrounded on all sides by books and plants. He understands that houseplants are no substitute for a real personality but collects them anyway.

About Tom Denbigh

Tom is the first Bristol Pride Poet Laureate and a BBC 1Extra emerging artist winner. He has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and festivals around the UK, and is a producer at Milk Poetry and a workshop facilitator.

Outside of poetry Tom is a doctor with a PhD on plant roots and crumbling soil. He now works on climate change science. His first collection '…and then she ate him' is out now with Burning Eye Books.
