For International Women’s Day, UH Arts invites creatives to join them for an informal lunch break, where we open a metaphorical sketchbook, to share artwork and inspiration on the theme of #ChooseToChallenge.
The event will kick off with guest artist Helena McGrath (alumni and visiting lecturer) talking in-depth about her painting Daddy Painter (2019) in relation to the theme and other artists that inspire her. Following this, we invite artists and art students to share one artwork and talk about how it responds to the theme – this could be their own artwork or someone who inspires them. Please do join us anyway, whether you would like to share an artwork or not!
Would you like to contribute?
If you would like to share a work or an artist who inspires you – please email Hannah at uharts@herts.ac.uk to find out more. You will need to provide an image or web page for us to share.
