The new normal, how artists can work in a changing world

Join us to

  • See what other artists have been up to during lockdown and 2020 restrictions with presentations
  • Join in an informal conversation on strategies to make the most of a difficult time
  • Meet other visual artists

Following on from our November event, this is an informal get together for artists, facilitated by UH Arts curator and artist Elizabeth Murton. The event will start with two 15 minute presentations from Poetics of Place artists Dave Nelson and Yva Jung sharing their experience of working in 2020.

For the second half of the evening, there will be a discussion on working in the COVID context we find ourselves within. Elizabeth will kick this off with an overview, and then open it up to a group discussion – with an aim to find positives and methods to work within this difficult context.

This event will take place on Zoom and a link will be shared just before the event.
