Join a group of artists to:

  • See what other artists have been up to during lockdown and restrictions
  • Contribute to a group discussion on how to make the most of this unusual and difficult time
  • Ask questions from fellow artists

This event is an informal online get-together. Following a short introduction, facilitated by UH Arts curator and artist Elizabeth Murton, you will get 2 minutes each to share finished or unfinished work you made during lockdown (max 4 slides/images). After presentations, we will open up a group discussion on how we are working within the COVID context with an aim to share methods to work within this difficult time.

7.30 - Introduction and welcomes
7.40 – Speedy Presentations
8.30 – Group discussion. Questions and thoughts welcome.
9.00 – Close

Please submit your 2-minute presentation along with your website and social media handles to Hannah at uharts@herts.ac.uk by midday 23rd November.

We'll share your website and social media information with other attendees in advance. The event will take place on Zoom and will be with a small group of artists (if it is over subscribed priority will be given to local artists).

This event is part of our Poetics of Place exhibition and Hertfordshire Year of Culture.
