Early childhood

There are many different approaches you can try in the field of early childhood education. You'll learn the latest theory, philosophy and best practice and have a unique opportunity to specialise in the development of young children between 0 – 7 years old. We’ll teach you how to give every child you work with the best possible start. You’ll also benefit from our strong links with employers and practitioners where you’ll see theory come to life in early educational settings.

Primary

The BEd (Hons) degree in Primary Teaching (with QTS) is a three-year full-time course offering professional and academic training leading to recommendation of the award of Qualified Teacher Status. It is structured to allow you to develop the skills and subject knowledge required by primary teachers to teach the full National Curriculum and develop specific expertise for making a distinctive contribution to primary practice.
