Our biosciences courses will give you a solid foundation in bioscience with a strong focus on disease processes. You’ll benefit from expert teaching enabling you to develop a thorough understanding of current technologies and therapies. From molecules to organ systems, our curriculum provides a fundamental understanding of the biological and chemical processes essential for human health. Our courses cross the disciplines of biochemistry, biological sciences, biomedical science, molecular biology and pharmacology.

Pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy
Pharmaceutical scientists play a vital role in the development of new medicines – from the initial discovery chemistry through to formulation development, manufacture, clinical testing and beyond. This course has been developed in collaboration with local and national biotech and pharmaceutical companies to ensure that its content stays relevant to the industry. The modules give you a fundamental understanding of chemistry, biochemistry, biology and pharmacology, before building specialist knowledge in drug design, formulation development and clinical testing. At the same time, you’ll develop the essential capabilities and skills employers value in the workplace.
