Accounting and finance
We take pride in our established reputation with professional accounting bodies for excellence in teaching and the quality of graduates we produce. The department is home to a diverse group of academics whose teaching and research interests cover key areas of accounting and finance such as auditing, corporate governance, financial reporting, taxation and management accounting.
Our Accounting and Finance, Accounting and Accounting and Economics courses are accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Our finance degrees provide you with key subject and employability skills, along with an appreciation of the increasingly international character of financial markets, banking and institutions. Studying one of our finance courses will enable you to develop the skills and knowledge required to work within the finance industry.
