Join our Psychology Society

The Psychology Society is a student led society that aims to make the most of studying at the University of Hertfordshire. The Society arranges a number of events, academic and social, for student and staff members throughout the year.

Some of our events from 2010-2011 include:

  • 'Ask a Psychologist'- with Professor Richard Wiseman, Dr Nick Troop, Professor Karen Pine, Dr Mike Page and Dr Bruce Hajilou. Students voted for who they wanted on an expert panel and asked them about anything to do with Psychology. Plus food and drinks with the panel afterwards.
  • 'Can exercise help patient's with Parkinson's Disease?'- Part of our series in academic seminars, the Society invited Dr Lucy Annette to talk about her latest research in this area.
