We offer innovative cultural journeys that will help you view the world in a whole new way, giving you exceptional opportunities to learn and develop. Alongside the traditional subjects such as English Literature, English Language & Linguistics, History and Philosophy, the School of Humanities offers applied courses including Mass Communications, Journalism and Creative Writing.
With a wide variety of modules to choose from in a range of subjects, you’ll be able to shape your degree around your personal interests and ambitions. Many offer opportunities to study abroad, immersing you in another culture.
This module is significant because learning about black culture, rights and social justice is vital to our understanding of the contemporary world. The University is committed to both international perspectives and addressing the BME attainment gap in higher education. We see this module as part of that larger project.
