How to register for your course

Once you have accepted an offer to attend a course, you will need to register.

Online Registration - Accredited courses

Students on most of our Health CPD courses, including those that are designated as Distance Learning, are offered online registration.

For those courses which lead to a further professional registration, you are required to attend a face-to-face registration session at which NHS counter fraud and DBS checks can be carried out. The following course falls into this category:

As soon as you have been accepted onto your course, our Health CPD Admissions Team will send you a formal offer via email. This email will contain full details of how to register onto your course.

Online registration -  Short courses

If you are attending a short course you can register remotely. Once you have registered we will email you a username and password enabling you to access to all the University's electronic resources.

We will also send you a permit to park for the duration of your course. You will not normally be given an ID badge.

How to pay your fees

Sponsored or NHS contracted students

If you are being sponsored by your employer or commissioned as part of the NHS East of England or London CPD contracts, you will need to seek approval from your CPD lead, who must sign your application form to confirm that the funding has been approved (without confirmation students will be liable for their fees).

Self-funding students

If you are paying the course fees yourself (self-funding) you can pay by credit and debit card or cash or cheque in person. You may be able to to pay in instalments. Contact student finance on +44 (0) 1707 284800 for more information. The Health CPD team can be contacted at cpdhealth@herts.ac.uk.
