Our distance learning courses give you the flexibility to study alongside other commitments, and our various teaching methods have been designed to make your studies easy accessible, interactive and diverse.
Watch the video about our online learning environment StudyNet, which will give you an idea of how online study really works, then explore a few sample materials for this course, which includes videos and interactive learning materials from the module "Innovation in mental health recovery theory and practice".
We hope you enjoy this little taster, we would love to welcome you to our online student community at the University of Hertfordshire!
In one of the learning units we consider different approaches to individual recovery journeys, what might be available and useful for people but we also think about how we can use therapeutic approaches to understand and facilitate our leadership roles when working with professionals, colleagues and peers.
There is much to be learned from the various therapeutic approaches that can inform our practice and experience and help us to understand and be able to react more deliberately when faced with challenging people and situations.
Your learning materials are presented in a module microsite which is split into weekly units and sessions to help you plan and manage your study time. Here you will find all the learning activities and resources you need to complete your studies.
