The University of Hertfordshire is based in Hatfield, a town in Hertfordshire, located just north of London. We have 2 main sites:
There is plenty to see and enjoy while you study with us. We are surrounded by the beautiful British countryside of Hertfordshire, whilst you will also be able to experience the highs of London living as we are just 25 minutes from central London by train.
There are a number of ways to travel to campus.
The University has its own bus company, Uno.
Uno runs local buses throughout Hertfordshire and into North London. Discounted tickets are available for staff and students.

The University offers a park and ride facility at Angerland, just off junction 2 of the A1(M). It’s available for all our students to use and no permit is needed. More information can be found here.
There are fast and frequent trains from London Kings Cross to Hatfield train station and from London St Pancras to St Albans train station, directions can be found using the National Rail Journey Planner.
Buses run frequently to both campuses from Hatfield and St Albans stations.

The two campuses are situated less than 1km apart and are linked by pathways, cycle routes and the University shuttle bus.
