The Mathematical Physics group of the University of Hertfordshire invites applications for a PhD position starting in October 2019. The closing date for applications is 15th April 2019.
The position is open to all candidates and is fully funded for 3 years, to start in October 2019. The successful candidate will join the Mathematical Physics group consisting of permanent staff members: Livia Ferro, Tomasz Lukowski, Vidas Regelskis, Charles Strickland-Constable and Charles Young. Subject areas covered by our group are quantum groups and representation theory, classical and quantum integrable models, supergravity and generalised geometry, scattering amplitudes in gauge theories, and related topics.
