Go Herts Award

The Go Herts Award is an initiative that current students can get involved in to develop their key skills and enhance their employability.

Whether you’re part of a club or society, volunteer, work or have travelled, you could use the skills you’ve developed so far and the experiences you gain throughout University to achieve the Go Herts Award.

What is the Go Herts Award?

The Go Herts Award is open to all students at the University and will be awarded to you when you graduate. The Award works alongside your academic studies and provides an opportunity for you to reflect on your experiences and use them to your advantage. By working towards the Award, you’ll feel more confident in your abilities to talk about what you’ve achieved.

We award points based on what you have achieved and award on three levels: bronze, silver and gold. There is a  list of qualifying activities that you can choose from. This is the evidence that demonstrates your skills and experience against each of the University’s graduate attributes.

These new skills enable me to be eligible for a diverse array of jobs in my careers in graphic design.
