Here at the University of Hertfordshire we understand that you might change your mind about your course or choice of university.
If you have changed your mind or if your circumstances are now different, it may be possible to transfer on to one of our courses even if you started your studies at another university.
If you would like to change on to a completely new course, you need to apply for your new course via UCAS, stating your previous qualifications and submit a new personal statement. Additionally, you can apply directly to the University by following our guidance or by using one of our approved overseas representatives.
The University will assess your application and will contact you about your next steps.
If you would like to stay on the same or similar course but would like to change your university and come to us instead, you will need to apply via UCAS, but apply for the second or third year of the course if you have already completed full years of study with your existing university. Additionally, you can apply directly to the University by following our guidance or by using one of our approved overseas representatives.
Once you have submitted your application, we will ask you to send us copies of your study transcripts and we will assess your progress and advise you about your appropriate year of study.
Please note that if you have completed your first year at another university, you will not be automatically entitled to come on to the second year of the course at Hertfordshire as we assess each course and student individually.
