Foundation
Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with five 'C' Grades.
KCSE English Language grade C/IELTS 4.5 with no less than 4.0 in any band.
Undergraduate (year 1)
For Hertfordshire Business School, Hertfordshire Law School, the School of Creative Arts and also computer science courses, students can gain year 1 entry with KCSE at B+ average, taking a minimum of eight subjects.
Year 1 entry to other schools require completion of A-levels or IB. For details of required A-level/IB scores please refer to the individual course pages.
KCSE English Language grade C/IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Undergraduate (year 2/3)
There are no agreed progression routes, but if you're interested in applying to the University after part completion of a degree or completion of a diploma, applications will be individually assessed.
KCSE English Language grade C/IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Pre-masters
Completion of a four year bachelors degree with third class honours.
KCSE English Language grade C/IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any band.
Postgraduate taught
Completion of a four year bachelors degree with a minimum of 2.2.
KCSE English Language grade C/IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depending on course) with no less than 5.5 in any band.
