Ready to travel?
Great news! You're now ready to travel to the University of Hertfordshire! Here's some things you need to do to make the journey
1. Book your free airport collection
We are delighted to offer free airport collection from Heathrow to campus on arrivals weekend! Our coaches will be on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 January at 10.00 and 19.30 each day but places are limited and you must book your seat in order to reserve a place.
2. Complete the pre-departure form
Once you have confirmed your travel details, please complete our Overseas Students Arrival Form so we know when you will be arriving and what travel restrictions will apply to you. You must also tell your accommodation provider the date you will be arriving so they can ensure your room and key are ready.
3. Complete the Public Health Passenger Locator Form
As we've previously stated, prior to your arrival you will need to look at the UK Government regulations on Entering the UK It will instruct that you complete a Public Health Passenger Locator Form which informs the UK Track and Trace system to help the fight against COVID-19.
This form is different from the University's arrival form. Both should be completed prior to departing.
4. Book your quarantine hotel or COVID-19 tests
Remember that prior to your arrival you will also need to look at the UK Government regulations on Entering the UK. Depending on where you are travelling from and your vaccination status, you will either need to follow the UK Red list arrival regulations or vaccination status regulations.
If you are not travelling from a Red list country, remember to check if your vaccination status is approved so that you do not have to quarantine in your accommodation.
All lists are required to make a booking of their UK COVID-19 test or quarantine package.
