Starting at Herts

Alongside your academic studies, the University invests lots of resources into your student experience. Every year for September and January entries, to help you settle into life at the University, we run a free Orientation Programme for our international students. It's a great way to make new friends and meet people from across the globe.

The video below shows footage from previous Freshers and Orientation Weeks. Due to Covid-19 and social distancing measures being in place, the Orientation Programme for the 2020/21 intake was centred around online activities, giving students the chance to begin connecting with other digitally. You will be able to take part in these digital events even if you are required to self-quarantine on arrival to the UK.

Herts and Beyond

Thanks to our excellent transport connections, it is easy to explore the towns and cities of Hertfordshire and beyond.
