Therapy accelerator
The Therapy Accelerator is a competition with a total grant value of £700,000 for academic research centres or new start-ups wishing to undertake collaborative research for new therapeutic developments in the life science areas.
The first three grants were awarded for:
- A new treatment for pancreatic cancer partnered with the University of Cambridge
- Preventing damage in Multiple Sclerosis partnered with University College London
- Safer therapies for asthma and lung disease partnered Kings College London
