This enabled her to experience different areas of law and identify her strengths, weaknesses and her passion

Future aspirations

Shahzad has had a highly successful career in law and continues to win awards for her contribution and dedication to the profession. For the time being she is keeping her future goals secret so she can surprise us all with her next move. However, she does plan on continuing to support the University and our current students, by taking part in careers talks and providing work experience opportunities.

I started working for the family law firm and there was a point where I felt that I wouldn’t grow without a legal qualification. Studying at Herts gave me the opportunity to get a job, it was close enough to London that I was able to get practical legal experience there. The support that Hertfordshire gave was the foundation for me becoming a banking and finance cross border lawyer.
