Entry Requirements

The module is aimed at registered health care professionals currently working in an appropriate area of practice.   

This module can be studied at Level 6 or Level 7. In order to study at Level 6 you will need a diploma level qualification. In order to study at Level 7 you will need a degree level qualification. Students who commence the module have one month from the start date to transfer between levels, after this time transfer will be at the discretion of the Programme or Course Lead

 

Course Overview

This module will equip practitioners to develop the skills and knowledge required for effective team leadership and management of teams. Marketing strategies will be explored together with creative approaches to service planning and delivery to facilitate effective working in a commissioning environment. Practitioners will consider the skills needed for project management.

The assessment for this module will be:

  • Presentation 100%.
