About the course

Participants will be more able and confident to:

  • Understand financial statements produced by finance professionals
  • Assess financial data and formulate appropriate conclusions and/or recommendations
  • Communicate effectively with financial and non-financial managers

This Business Academy workshop aims to enable participants to:

  • Appreciate the principles, role, scope and limitations of financial and management accounting from the viewpoint of practicing managers
  • Evaluate financial data and its role in practical financial decision-making
  • Be able to communicate effectively on financial issues

The course should give you a clearer understanding of the terminology used in financial management and will deliver the topics in a clear and interesting way.
