The course is taught by Alessandra Alonso
Alessandra Alonso is an academic with the University of Hertfordshire and Chief Mentor and Strategic Consultant at Everyday Mentor, an advisory business aimed at supporting individuals and organisations in achieving their potential through customised, outcome-driven interventions.
Alessandra has worked with many business over the last 20 years, both via the University of Hertfordshire and on a personal level, supporting their business objectives through strategic consulting, coaching and mentoring and management development. She also lectures at postgraduate level around employability issues and has run many executive leadership programmes for national and international teams. Alessandra held senior positions with KPMG and The World Travel & Tourism Council before setting up her own business. She serves on the boards of professional bodies and is a regular speaker at conferences nationally and internationally.
Alessandra has a first class degree in business from the University of Florence, Italy; an MSc in European Studies from the London School of Economics; an executive MBA jointly from the University of Edinburgh and ENPC Paris. She gained her certificate in coaching and mentoring for workplace performance at the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring and is an associate member of the Higher Education academy. Alessandra is passionate about gender issues in the workplace and has written extensively on the subject. Alessandra is a highly energetic, passionate and driven leader who enjoys developing sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships with her clients, partners and industry colleagues.
