About the course
The Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health will equip you with the skills and knowledge on that impact on population health and healthcare systems, including environmental health, disease prevention, health economics, global health, ethics, and behavioural and cultural issues.

What will I study?
The course is delivered entirely online through live webinars, scheduled online activities as well as online directed independent study. You’ll be assessed through a variety of methods, including:

All online delivery and learning materials are hosted on Canvas – the University of Hertfordshire’s dedicated system for education delivery.
Throughout the course you’ll receive a wealth of support. You’ll receive a thorough induction and orientation to the programme and the University, as well as access to an interactive academic skills workshop to give you the skills you need to succeed through online learning. If you’re an international student you’ll also be provided with additional English support.
Academic and pastoral support is provided by your own personal tutor, as well as the programme lead. You’ll also receive dedicated technology support through the Learning and Teaching Centre, an E-Learning Technologist and the online distance learning Admissions team.
