Why choose this course?

Projects have increasingly extended beyond their traditional roots in construction and engineering to various industries such as management consulting, IT systems, marketing, finance, event management and even the legal and education professions. Often, the success and failure of such projects depends on the project management and strategic capability of the organisation. The sustainability of organisations will increasingly depend on their ability to deliver successfully through projects. Hence it is becoming increasingly important to enhance organisational capability and supplement it with systematic and applied knowledge and solid practice.

Delegates will gain an understanding of the organisational methods required to support projects as well as of the skills which are required to efficiently and effectively manage difficult projects in demanding environments from start to finish. Delegates will gain an overview of project-critial topics such as project planning, risk management, procurement, organisational skills, business communications, stakeholder engagement, business strategy, benefits realisation and leadership skills.

Entry requirements...

Delegates should ordinarily have a first degree or equivalent and/or 3 to 5 years relevant industry/business experience.
