COVID-19 Case Tracker
The health and wellbeing of our community remains our highest priority at the University of Hertfordshire. This page gives the most up-to-date data on COVID-19 infections at the University as well as information on cases reported in the borough of Welwyn and Hatfield and in the United Kingdom.
Please note, the number of cases below is based on the total number of UK based staff (3,000) and students (25,000).
COVID-19 Rapid Testing Unit for students
To help our students travel home safely ahead of Christmas, we are opening a COVID-19 Rapid Testing Unit on campus from Monday November 30. This unit will focus on testing students who do not have any symptoms of COVID-19, but who could still have caught the virus and be infectious to others.
As a result, it is estimated that following the opening of this testing unit on November 30, the University’s COVID-19 case tracker will see a rise in positive cases.
More information on the University’s asymptomatic testing programme can be found here.
For advice and information about support for students and staff who develop COVID-19 symptoms or who are self-isolating, or information about our COVID-safety measures on campus, visit the University’s coronavirus advice pages.
