COVID-19 Case Tracker
The health and wellbeing of our community remains our highest priority at the University of Hertfordshire. This page gives the most up-to-date data on COVID-19 infections at the University as well as information on cases reported in the borough of Welwyn and Hatfield and in the United Kingdom.
Please note, the number of cases below is based on the total number of UK based staff (3,000) and students (25,000).
COVID-19 Rapid Testing Unit for students
In December, we made rapid testing available on campus to all students who did not display COVID-19 symptoms to allow them to travel home with the reassurance that they would not be unintentionally transmitting the virus to friends and family members. The Rapid COVID-19 Testing Unit re-opened on Monday 4 January as we welcome student back to campus, to help keep our community safe. As a result of the testing unit being open, it is estimated that the University’s COVID-19 case tracker will see a rise in positive cases.
More information on the University’s asymptomatic testing programme can be found here.
For advice and information about support for students and staff who develop COVID-19 symptoms or who are self-isolating, or information about our COVID-safety measures on campus, visit the University’s coronavirus advice pages.
