Staff meeting rooms
The University has a wide range of meeting rooms and staff facilities which are available for public use, dependent on University timetabling.
Rooms are equipped with various equipment including display screens, webcam and tele-conferencing as well as wired and wireless capability for presentations from laptops, smartphones or tablets.
Larger room bookings
There are more than 60 bookable staff meeting rooms across both campuses with capacity up to 25.
The MacLaurin Building is located adjacent to the de Havilland campus, containing a number of large meeting rooms; Woburn, Sandringham, Matthews Suite, Evolution 1 and Cambridge rooms.
All now boast new display screens, webcam and an easy to use tabletop console that allows you to do Skype for Business calls, tele-conferencing as well as wired and wireless presentations from laptop, smartphone or tablet.
The Central Committee room has been refurbished with new video conferencing and audio-visual facilities along with an impressive 3 x 3 video wall.

Communal and social spaces
- Hutton Lounge - an open plan space in the Hutton Hub on the College Lane Campus. The Lounge is bookable for events such as fairs and exhibitions. Bookings for the Hutton Lounge are booked through the Student Centre.
- Lindop Foyer - used for small scale events.
- Chapman Lounge - regularly used for events of varying scales.
- De Havilland Atrium - The Atrium sits within the Business School on the De Havilland campus. It can be used for a variety of events, and is particularly suited to exhibitions and fairs.
