Life and Medical Sciences

The school of Life and Medical Sciences offers a  diverse array of subjects for students to study, from Biological and Environmental Science and  Geopolitics to Optometry.

Our landmark Science Building offers brand new laboratories and learning spaces, where you’ll use research technologies including pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, cell culture facilities and aseptic suites. We have a range of modern facilities to enhance your learning, covering three campuses including our own Field research centre at Bayfordbury.

We also have the largest clinical simulation centre in the UK, featuring an intensive care unit, emergency department and operating theatres, so you’ll be able to practise your skills in state-of-the-art learning environments. We are dedicated to training new scientists, practitioners and professionals, ready to tackle many of today’s challenges.
