Optometry
Optometrists examine patient's eyes, give advice on eye health and visual problems and prescribe and fit spectacles or contact lenses.
This distinctive 4-year Optometry degree programme at the University of Hertfordshire integrates theory, research, science and clinical practice from year one. Across all 4 years students will focus on achieving parallel success: as a professional clinician and as a scientist.
The programme integrates the pre-registration period within this four year masters programme, meaning that upon completion of your degree you will be a fully registered Optometrist.
