Study in North America

Between your Second and Final Years you'll have the exciting opportunity to study abroad for a year in either the USA or Canada.

This will vividly bring your studies to life, developing your understanding of the social, political and cultural contexts of the USA from its earliest settlements by Europeans to its position as a influential superpower post-Cold War and beyond.

See Why Study America for more information.

Students taking American Studies also have the option of spending the second semester of their second year studying at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, before returning to complete their degree in three years.
