Partnerships in education

The School of Education at the University of Hertfordshire works together with many partners and welcomes opportunities to form new relationships.

In the term 'partners' we include professional friends such as people and organisations who identify with us.

What do we mean by partnership?

We have a diverse range of partners both in the UK and  Internationally. All our partnerships are characterised by agreed aims, mutual respect and commitment.

We work together not only to achieve agreed aims but also to improve the partnership itself, leading to enhanced results and increased capacity for all.

What are the benefits of working in partnership?

Partnership working is mutually beneficial. It allows partners to:

  • provide high quality professional development that impacts positively on the work of organisations, settings and schools
  • share knowledge and skills
  • develop their capacity
  • raise success levels through collaborative working
  • access pre-existing networks
  • raise their profile
  • keep up to date.
