Other notable successes
Our student team received the Audience Award at our annual Animation Exposé Festival. Other awards were judged by a panel of some of the biggest names in the industry.
Six Animation graduates were part of the Oscar-winning team for the blockbuster film 'Inception', and two students were awarded by animal charity PETA for their film "Bertie the Elephant".
Film & TV Production graduates Chris Cooper, Richard Allen and Anna Drizen recently screened their three graduate films at BAFTA.
Design Crafts (formerly Contemporary Applied Arts) graduate Dominique Hodges, winner of the TV programme House Gift on ITV, sold her glass piece to Richard Branson, whilst graduate Alyssa Smith won at the Hertfordshire Biz4Biz Business Awards.
Graphic Design graduate Ryan Panchal founded his own clothing business, and works at Taxi Studio, one of the most respected design agencies in the UK. Students on the Graphic Design and Illustration programme have won nearly 100 awards over the past 8 years.
Interior Architecture and Design students designed the layout for a brand-new restaurant, Agogosfood, and worked with a big-name business to redesign their office blocks to make them more green-friendly. (This was done through our in-house design agency which students can get involved with!)
One of our Photography graduates is now Head of Photography and Publicity at Liberty in Regent Street, London and will be taking 2 interns from us per year.
Our Model Design graduates have worked on Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Doctor Strange, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Harry Potter, the Dark Knight trilogy and more.
Students on our Music programme have worked with everyone from Rag n' Bone Man to Craig David, and gone on to headline festivals (Flux Pavilion was a UH student!)
