Jeremy Ridgman MA PGCE FHEA

Jeremy Ridgman received a Fellowship in recognition of his service to the University of Hertfordshire. Jeremy was born in London and brought up in Hertfordshire. Following completion of his teacher training and a short time teaching in Ware, he took up a post as a lecturer in drama at the University of Queensland, Australia. He then taught at Roehampton University for 21 years before becoming Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Hertfordshire in 2008. Jeremy was appointed Dean of the School of Humanities in 2012 and held this post until he retired in August 2018.
