Dr Rebecca Hilsenrath

Rebecca Hilsenrath received an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws, in recognition of her contribution to the legal profession and human rights. Rebecca began her legal career at Linklaters before taking a career break to raise her family. During that time she co-founded  two Jewish schools in Hertfordshire. She is now the Chief Executive Officer of the European Human Rights Commission, which she describes as ‘the best job in the world’. Rebecca was included in The Times list of 100 most influential lawyers in 2012.
