Dr Gordon Morrison BEM
Gordon Morrison received an honorary degree of Doctor of Science in recognition of his charitable work and contribution to the University of Hertfordshire.
Gordon and his brother grew the family business, based in the Scottish Highlands, to an international construction and support services company. On leaving Morrison Construction, Gordon established the Chaldean Group of Companies in Hertfordshire, which manages one of the largest arable farming estates in the East of England. Gordon has been recognised with a British Empire Medal for his charitable work to provide treatment worldwide for children with cancer. He was a Governor of the University of Hertfordshire for 12 years, and chaired the University’s Feed the World initiative.
