Dr Roy Button OBE

With five decades in the film industry, Roy Button OBE has made more than 300 films. He was the driving force behind the opening of the Warner Bros. studio in Leavesden and the Harry Potter studio tour. Roy set up the Warner Bros. Creative Talent Scheme in 2013, which provides bursaries and mentorship to University of Hertfordshire Film and Television students. He has also personally mentored a number of University students. Roy was awarded an honorary Doctor of Arts in recognition of his contribution to the film industry,  to the University and to the county of Hertfordshire.
