For Schools of Law and Education students only. This lecture will help students better understand the issues and challenges of using Generative Artificial Intelligence, such as ChatGBT or Microsoft Co-Pilot. You will learn about the ethical implications of using AI, when it is appropriate on your modules to use assistive technologies and how to know if AI is authorised or unauthorised on your modules. We will also cover how to ensure you do not expose yourself to academic misconduct issues. You will be able to apply what you learn to your studies, including how you approach working on your assignments. You will be asked to share your thoughts with other students sitting next to you, for example on any experience you have using AI. This lecture has room for approximately 100 students. There will not be any refreshments available.
