Politics and International Relations Taster Lecture: Feeling Secure? The Global Politics of War

Is war the most pressing issue to global security in 2024? Students will be introduced to different theories of war, including Just War and New War in order to evaluate some of today’s biggest conflicts across the globe. Learn about the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, alongside smaller intra-state conflicts to understand how these change our perceptions and feelings of global and everyday security.
