Join our Entrepreneurship facilitator, Roma Bhowmick, alongside Hertfordshire Graduate MBA, other students, alumni , businesses and distinguished guests, in this quick-fire two-hour digital session as we explore cutting-edge trends and insights that are shaping the future in this important field.

Roma Bhowmick is a Certified INED (2020), Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and associate member of the Institute of Consulting. She has supported, advised, coached and mentored individuals at board level in both SMEs and larger enterprises, specialising in the fast growth SME sector (£1m - £45m t/o) as well as blue-chip corporate organisations. Her key role and area of impact has been in advising and guiding senior leaders and business founders in organisations through strategic development, acting as both catalyst and sounding board to challenge and evoke change.

In this session, Roma Bhowmick will facilitate a discussion about the crucial role of management consultancy within the entrepreneurial landscape, offering valuable insights for those looking to build or grow their own businesses. Drawing on her extensive experience as a Certified INED and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Roma will explore the essential skills required for effective management consulting, particularly in the fast-growth SME sector. Participants will gain an understanding of the strategic development processes that are key to planning, ideation and scaling of businesses, as well as the importance of having a trusted advisor to challenge and guide decision-making.
