Jane Glynn

People Dream Up Places, Places Dream Up People (2020)

Jane Glynn’s giant book was made to celebrate and share ideas from participatory art projects for New Geographies. Originally planned as a public facing interactive tool, the book has evolved to be an online launch pad for further inspiration and questions linked to people’s relationships with their own local places.

Keep an eye on Jane's page throughout the month of July as 3 activities for you to get involved with will be unveiled.

About Jane Glynn

Jane Glynn is a Hertfordshire based artist, illustrator and educator specialising in mixed media work about time and memory and participatory work with people of all ages and abilities. She has an MA in Children’s Book Illustration (Anglia Ruskin, 2011), is an associate artist with MKGallery and her work has featured in group and solo exhibitions in the UK and abroad.

This project is part of New Geographies, a 3-year project including 10 artists’ commissions to make new work in response to nominated locations across East Anglia. It is funded by Arts Council England. We would be grateful if you could complete the New Geographies survey. This survey will take approximately 2 or 3 minutes and helps the New Geographies consortium of organisations gather feedback for the funder and evaluate our projects. You do not need to give your name or email.
