Dr Dipti Amin


Dr. Dipti Amin is a resident of Hertfordshire, and currently Director at Maaya Associates Ltd and a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and Cambridge Innovation Capital.  Previously, she was Chief Compliance Officer at Quintiles Transnational and over the last 26 years has held positions of operational and strategic responsibility within Pharmaceutical Services at the C-suite and Board level, delivering consistently on growth, quality, customer, employee and process targets.  Her broad experience covers Clinical Pharmacology, ethical issues in clinical research, drug development, ethics and compliance programmes as well as leadership and management of large, multi-functional, multi-geography, global groups to deliver value-added, efficient growth and achieving business turnarounds.

Having obtained her medical degree from Guys and St. Thomas’ Medical Schools of the University of London, she went on to gain multiple post-graduate qualifications and clinical experience in Clinical Pharmacology (DCPSA), Paediatric medicine (DCH), Care of the Elderly medicine (DGH), Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG).  Dr Amin is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FFPM). She has contributed to numerous scientific papers and publications.

Dr Amin is an Honorary Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology at Guy’s, King’s, and St. Thomas’ Hospitals Medical & Dental Schools.  Previously Dr Amin served on the Board of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians, on the Innovation Board and Medical Expert Network of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, on a Department of Health Multi-centre Research Ethics Committee, on the Emerging Science and Bioethics Advisory Committee of the Dept. of Health, and on the Board of Governors of Heathfield School for Girls (The Girls’ Day School Trust).

She is married with a daughter and in her spare time enjoys golf, theatre and travel with aspirations to play bridge and improve her Spanish language skills.
